The First Lunar Olympics

This science fiction story focuses on a brave young woman competing on the moon in the first lunar Olympics.  This story is something of a departure for me, as it’s written as a hard sci-fi story with a greater emphasis on scientific realism than most of my other works.

The Dragon Within

In this sci-fi adventure involving a planet-sized amusement park, we follow a desperate attempt to save a woman who holds the secret of the ultimate innovation in fantasy entertainment: genetically engineered dragons. This is the longest story added to the Lending Library yet at nearly 10k words!

Within the Maelstrom

In this steampunk reimagining of a classic Edgar Allan Poe short story, a deep-sea salvager piloting a steampunk cyborg fish desperately searches for his brothers as a great sea monster lurks in the depths.

The Griffin in the Library

This story combines my love of books and griffins with some imagery that has been with me for years. I love the idea of a magical school among snowy peaks, and I really love to think of a griffin carefully reading a book about knights by lantern light!

Loot

This story was an experiment to see if I could write an entire short piece with nothing but dialogue. It also uses the kind of humorous fantasy themes that will be familiar to fans of my  short stories Sharp Sword, Dull Sword and We Don’t Do Quests

Loss of a Legend: A Keltin Moore Short Story

This is the first Keltin Moore short story I ever wrote. Chronologically, it takes place between The Beast Hunter and Into the North, and features the first time that Jaylocke ever tried taking the lead on a hunt.
